This is an ideal role for an ambitious HR professional eager to gain broad exposure to all aspects of HR while having a direct impact on shaping and supporting a small but dynamic organisation.
As part of a team of two, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of People with day-to-day HR operations, HR initiatives, and employee relations. What you’ll be doing
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including employee queries, HR documentation, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and managing the full onboarding process for new hires.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and assisting with any employee relations matters in collaboration with the Head of People.
- Assist in managing the performance review process, tracking feedback, and helping to implement development plans.
- Support the design and coordination of training sessions and employee development programs.
- Maintain HR systems and databases, generate reports as needed, and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in organising employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programs, and recognition efforts to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Help review and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they remain aligned with company goals and legal requirements.
What we're looking for in you

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HR systems (Ideally HiBob & Team Tailor) and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and resolve issues as they arise.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
